Vintage Chloé Pink Silk Shantung Embroidered Beaded Skirt Suit

Circa the late 1980s/early 1990s, likely designed under Lagerfeld’s creative direction, this vintage Chloé skirt suit ensemble is made from 100% silk shantung in an alluring pink.

The overall silhouette of the suit is a flattering pegged shape with a classic pencil skirt and a jacket that has some more unique features. A Rococo inspired embroidered centre front designed in metallic threads and prong-set stones catch the eye while armhole princess lines trace down from the slightly broadened shoulders to the concave hemline the sweeps around the back through an architectural detail which doubly functions as a set of pockets. On the back, the hem dips lower as two side pleats and filigree embroidery accent the tail.
