A magnificent pair of Pate de Verre cherry earrings by Maison Gripoix for Chanel. Emerald green hand poured glass leaves and gold toned veins. Amethyst glass flowers with crystal paste centers and long dangling glass cherries.
These very rare Chanel earrings measure 4 inches long with clip back fittings. Made in France. Signed Chanel from Season 28, so these earrings are circa 1984 to 1998. This is the period during which Karl Largerfeld appointed Victoire de Castallane as head of jewelry design, and she produced of the famous Chanel pieces that are so collectable and continue to inspire today.
