Tiziani Silk Blouse & Skirt Set 1960s

This silk skirt set, with a signature "T" print throughout, from the label Tiziani where Karl Lagerfeld freelanced early on in his career. The blouse has a soft ruffle neckline with a v neck, buttons down the front and on the cuffs. The skirt has a yoke panel with pleats that fall just below the hips.

Tiziani was founded in 1963, by American designer Evans Richards who hired Karl Lagerfeld as his fellow couturier in the firm. The Tiziani label was a favorite of Elizabeth Taylor, and she can be seen in many of her films wearing custom Tiziani creations.
