Prada Turquoise Silk Taffeta Floral Applique Jacket, Spring 2012

Muccia Prada, the visionary behind the Italian house of Prada, is known for her subversive approach to fashion. Though a departure from her minimalist roots, the 2012 Prada Spring Collection was rebellious in a different way, shaped by the intention to make it “… sweet, which is taboo in fashion… I worked with sweet materials and shapes… little by little, it started coming together.”
