An exceptional Prada Spring/Summer 2016 runway coat, crafted in alternating vertical bands of chartreuse suede and metallic gold snakeskin.

The striking contrast of soft suede and reflective snakeskin creates a bold graphic effect across the entire garment. Cut in a long, straight silhouette, the coat features a pointed collar, button-front closure, long sleeves, front flap pockets and a structured half-belt detail across the back. It is finished with a coordinating chartreuse lining.

This was one of the defining outerwear designs from Miuccia Prada’s Spring 2016 collection, which prominently featured coats combining metallic snakeskin with suede striping. Vogue singled out the chartreuse-and-gold version as the collection’s “Best in Show.”
