Prada Silk Beach Print Plunge Neck Top Runway, 2010
Miuccia Prada is a fascinating designer for many reasons, but notably her ability to offer range with a poise and ease keeps her designs relevant and desirable. Setting aside the curated storylines and the collaborations, Spring 2010 Prada dared to design with a simple yet ingenious inspiration of business meets beach.
This top is made from a lustrous pewter silk with a detailed beach print that forms an airbrushed sienna sunset from the neck that fades into a silhouetted palm tree and lively beachscape in muted blues, sunny yellows, and warm orange tones. The top has a thick halter that moves into a plunging V-neckline. This in conjunction with the structural pleating at the neck and on the thigh-length peplum exemplify the “business at the beach” theme.
The lightly gathered front and the tailored elements of the top provide an excellent balance of casual and corporate. Beautifully finished with seam binding and donning an exceptional color scheme, this top is certain to breathe a breath of fresh air into any wardrobe. It can be seen in the featured images as look #31 from that season’s runway.
Size: 38 IT
In excellent condition, this top closes at centre back with an invisible zip and is fully lined. It has been professionally eco dry cleaned and pressed.
