Setting aside the curated storylines and the collaborations, Spring 2010 Prada dared to design with a simple yet ingenious inspiration of business meets beach.

This top is made from a lustrous pewter silk with a detailed beach print that forms an airbrushed sienna sunset from the neck that fades into a silhouetted palm tree and lively beachscape in muted blues, sunny yellows, and warm orange tones. The top has a thick halter that moves into a plunging V-neckline. This in conjunction with the structural pleating at the neck and on the thigh-length peplum exemplify the “business at the beach” theme.

The lightly gathered front and the tailored elements of the top provide an excellent balance of casual and corporate.
