1960s Tiziani Dress
This dress is as impeccable today as it was 50 years ago. The fabric is a black linen with ecru linen piping trimming the neck sleeves and hem line. I am loving the beautiful embroidery work on the skirt portion with a pineapple floral motif.
This dress is fully lined in a sheer gauzy black silk. Tiziani was founded in 1963, by American designer Evans Richards who hired Karl Lagerfeld as his fellow couturier in the firm. The Tiziani label was a favorite of Elizabeth Taylor, and she can be seen in many of her films wearing custom Tiziani creations.
Length of dress: 53"
Shoulder to waist: 14"
Waist to hem: 39"
