1970s Bergdorf Goodman Silk and Gold Metallic Print Dress

A gorgeous 1970s ultra fine and lightweight floating sheer silk phool dress with a custom order couture tag from Bergdorf Goodman on the Plaza. Featuring a beautiful intricate print with deep purple, yellow, marigold and a touch of magenta.

Hundreds of gold threads are running horizontally throughout the print, giving the dress an overall metallic sheen. The dress closes in the front with fabric covered buttons. The top is lined in a silky rayon the skirt portion has soft pleats at the waistline and is double layered. The sleeves are unlined and have hidden snaps at the wrist.
