According to Muccia, the Prada 2004 Fall/Winter collection “…was a dream of extreme romanticism,” inspired by “the idea of eighteenth-century painting, with video games.” This dream materialized as an array of bejeweled fifties silhouettes and futuristic prints, seamlessly merging past and future ideas of beauty.

From that collection, this striking Prada shoulder bag perfectly captures the designer’s fascination with juxtaposition — texture against texture, tradition against innovation. It is crafted in yellow and brown printed silk with an abstract painterly motif, accented by dark brown crocodile leather trim and strap that lend a luxurious tactile contrast.
