PRADA F/W 2004 RUNWAY SILK SCENIC PRINT CRYSTAL COLLAR COAT

$3,900

According to Muccia, the Prada 2004 Fall/Winter collection “…was a dream of extreme romanticism,” inspired by “the idea of eighteenth-century painting, with video games.” This dream materialized as an array of bejeweled fifties silhouettes and futuristic prints, seamlessly merging past and future ideas of beauty. As seen on that season’s runway, this luxurious coat is quintessential Prada at its best.

This coat Runway Look #53 is one of those pieces that reference the idea of an eighteenth-century painting and it still feels as notable now as it did then. Pieces from this collection sold out worldwide and were waitlisted everywhere. It is an incredible testament to Miuccia's ability to take the past and make it feel fresh.

Done in printed silk, a boucle panel embellished with pink, grey, and diamond color crystals wraps around the neckline adding depth, sparkle, and a nice contrast of texture that draws the eye upwards. This coat has side pockets, closes with concealed hand-set snaps, and is lined in black silk.

In excellent condition this coat has been cleansed with obsidian and sage to ensure that you are welcoming a bright new energy into your home and has also been professionally eco-dry cleaned and pressed. High-quality pieces like this are yours to live in and love while increasing in value every year. It’s never too soon to start collecting them, as an investment in your wardrobe—and yourself.
